Fashion-Bombay and Shoe Diary

With this post I break the news that I have been waiting to share with you all for quite sometime now. While I try to keep pace with my excitement and extreme joy, I am truly elated to say that I have been chosen as an intern by Fashion-Bombay.
*Drum Rolls Please*
After having followed them for a long time, always being filled with a sense of awe for the striking work they have to their credit this is a dream come true for me. Both Sonu and Jasleen have an inimitable sense of style besides a highly impressive portfolio and I am proud of this association with them. Do check their fantabulous blog and witness for yourself what I am trying to convey in words.
“Cinderella is the proof that shoes can change your life”
You are dressed impeccably in the most gorgeous dress with make up and hair stunning enough to make head turns…but wait. A wrong pair of shoe can completely ruin it for you, while the perfect pair can add oodles of drama at the same time. I absolutely love shoes and my fondness for the different varieties has often irked my parents and friends. So a post dedicated solely to shoes was long overdue. Read on to educate yourself about the ‘must-have shoes‘ in any girls wardrobe which will help you pull off any outfit with a 10/10.
Ballerinas: They are flat, they are chic and they are probably the most comfortable yet stylish shoes around. You will be spoilt for choice with the variety available in the market. Be it patent leather, neons, bright colors, studded, floral or animal print…there is that perfect ballerina waiting for you. Give your flip-flops a miss for this variety as they certainly score higher on the wow factor.
High Heeled Pumps: One of the most popular styles in shoes for women, a heeled pump is  a must have for any collection. With their simple yet classic appearance pumps can add the right oomph to any outfit. When in doubt about your footwear, pumps will never let you down. A basic black is playing safe, while the crazy range of colors available will add the perfect pop of color to your outfit.
Gladiators: A trend that has been passed down from several generations, gladiators are highly versatile and look fab on everyone. You can pull this fashionable footwear with everyday casuals or with your party wear and still create the right impact.
Kitten heelsYou have long day planned with several meetings and a job profile that requires being on a constant move? Kitten heels is your answer to strutting around stylishly while not being strained by the usual 3inch high heel. Take your pick from the closed or open variety and you will love every minute in them.
Strappy Stilettos: Want to hit the party scene or lend your evening dress the perfect fall and feel like a princess? Your search ends with a dazzling pair of strapped stilettos. They look great with dresses, skirts and full length gowns and will add much to your shoe collection.
WedgesWedges are a must have in any girls collection of shoes as they are perfect for afternoons and evenings. They compliment several trends like brunch look, short dresses, shorts, etc. Choose from bows, lace, studs, peep-toes as per your style.
Oxfords and Brogues: The footwear that currently tops my list of to-buy, both oxfords and brogues scream stylishness and are a raging trend. Team them with denims for a casual day out or with a feminine dress to create an eclectic fusion. Available in all shades and styles, they will get you the right attention.
Booties: A hot addition to your collection booties are perfect for the Indian weather. They have a chic yet grungy feel to them and can transform your outfit in minutes. Choose from the leather or suede variety to complete your shoe collection.
So get shoe-shopping and add these beauties to your collection.
