Let’s walk together past fluid
dreams.
Touch with our finger tips the viscosity of imagination and soak in the
transparency of lost intentions.
Let’s hum to the tunes now
redundant.
At times melancholy, at times rapturous. Zealously trace back our forgotten
instincts.

Let’s make love like it’s our day
last.
Exploit letters to create words and reward sentences with appropriate
full stops.
Let’s marvel at archives in each
others company.
Acknowledge the grain of sand that now sleeps on your finger each
night.
Let’s for a moment forget all
that could be.
Like a flight of birds let’s set our dreams free and live to
watch them fly back next summer.

I know I haven't been able to post lately but it gets a tad difficult to shoot with 6 days at office and Nikhil's commitment to several photography projects round the month. But yes, if you have been following me on Facebook, you will know how I am constantly sharing outfit inspirations, d-i-ys, etc.
On another note, you can read my interview with Atul Kasbekar, Anupam Kher and Sapna Bhavnani (yes, this is what kept me busy the whole of Jan!). Also watch this video and you might just spot me there!
You can follow me on Instagram @kavyadsouza for updates and more!
Till the next post,

The post is every bit as exciting as I thought it would be! Love the vintage blouse and how the accessories are coming together! :)

ReplyDelete"Zealously trace back our forgotten instincts",I know how that feels.Did try it out.one question always haunts me,Kavya. How come your writing is always as beautiful as your smile,if not more? How come it ALWAYS,ALWAYS exudes so much positivity?I DO try but all I can manage are ugly, dark, cynic lines half of which don't even make sense.
ReplyDeleteYou are only too kind Soumi. But as Neruda said "Give me all the pain of everyone. I am going to turn it into hope." I often veil cynicism under the beauty of words. It's cathartic. And in my experience, words treat you best when you are not too hard with them. Maybe you should stop 'trying'.
Deletelove the words and love your outfit!!
