The deceptive guile and the abyssal yearning paint the cosmic sky. From the other end you view it in a painted shade of cobalt sprinkled with specks for stars. I see an oxblood fertile field dotted with mustard roots. Remains of last year’s harvest.

And I join the Oxblood bandwagon with this post. Yes, this dress was purchased almost two years ago (simply because I thought the color – then burgundy – looked gorgeous), however I will shamelessly admit that the whole hoopla around Oxblood this season got me to dig it out from the depths of my closet. I actually quite love this trend. Way more convincing than the pastels trend that left the Indian skinned looking pale and washed out. Also, these shoes are a steal off a random store at Bandra. Got to love unexpected on-trend bargain buys!
