The Forgotten Script

I have forgotten how to write. I have unlearnt the art of translating flashing images and capturing escaping thoughts. I have traced back written words and blotted the splattered ink drops. I have undone all knotted scribbled parchments.
To write is to yearn. Yearning that can leave your heart wrenched for days, a pain that aches and lingers till it has scraped the last remains of you. Pain that is at times mind numbingly beautiful. The kind of beauty that transcends physicality and outlives mortality.
To write is to smell love in corners of a failing home, to touch simmering emotions with burnt fingertips and to clearly see through frosted glass windows.  It is to witness a tumultuous uproar as the nib dangerously challenges the printed line with each letter.
I had forgotten how to write and then you come along and taught me an alien script.

To begin with, how fabulous do crop tops look?! I’ve loved the ‘crop top with high waist’ look way before it became a ‘trend’ to watch out for this summer. Besides this denim beauty, I’ve lapped up several other crop tops (some of which I shared on Instagram), including a brand new piece in my swim wear collection!
Also, been loving the Nivea Total Face Cleanup in the last few days. Since I seldom visit a salon and have never signed up for any clean up or facial routines, this product with its five benefits makes for my quick fix face wash and weekend pack. While this is my story, you can share yours at http://just5mins.in and win a chance to spend an evening with Parineeti Chopra.
Till the next post,
Kavya

Lovely look Kavya…the colours are so perfect…so subtly summer! The pictures complement your look so well. And needless to say, you pen your words beautifully!

I have not seen an Indian rock the crop top the way you did here… !! totally impressed in my first visit :) And lovely skirt and earrings (yes basically everything)

And I want to mention that your writing above touched me somewhere.. how it has possibilities of turning things around..even if only in your mind..the way you contrasted in para 3 :)

Voted for you on Cosmo Awards as well.
