Shirt - Asos Ripped Denims - American Eagle Shoes -…
I am often scrolling through international fashion blogs, endlessly pinning outfits that pique my attention on Pinterest and trying to keep up with the latest trends, fads and collections globally. This however often ends with me complaining about not having access to some of the major international brands in the country and means scheduling exclusive visits to the mall on any trip abroad to make sure that I get all the things off my very long wishlist. Now I’ve always loved the casual yet stylish apparel and trademark hoodies by GAP and these would often be a part of my vacay-abroad to-shop wishlists. So when I got to know about GAP hitting the Indian shores, I obviously couldn’t contain my excitement!
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you must’ve seen this post expressing my happiness about the much loved brand finally making its way to India and then seen (and participated in) this contest in association with GAP. All the comments left behind during the contest made me realise how almost everyone had a reason or two to celebrate about now being able to shop at GAP. While some of you swore by GAP’s great fit and mentioned how you would no longer have to get your aunts and cousins living abroad to stock up on GAP apparel for you during their visits, almost everyone spoke of how the brand’s quality and pricing had you hooked.
Now I’ve been quite lucky to have had a chance of working with some of the biggest fashion and beauty brands that I personally love for StreakHueFall over the last few years and sometimes this also means having an exclusive access to collections before the formal launch. This outfit post runs with a similar back story. When I saw this tube striped maxi dress by GAP, I immediately knew that it had to make it to the blog. The uneven hemline and stripes inspired me to go the bohemian way. So I instinctively threw on a black hat, a thin belt, some arm candy and a pair of heels to still keep it classy. What I love most about this maxi is how I styled it here for a summer day but could easily swap the hat with a black blazer and some lipstick to take it for a formal setting in the evening!
So if you’re as excited as me to shop at GAP, make way to Select Citywalk on May 30th to lay your hands on this maxi and other GAP apparels and accessories!
