I absolutely love D-I-Y fashion! Not only cause the process…
A couple of days ago I was invited to the launch of the new Reliance Trends outlet (as you may have seen on my social media platforms!) at Inorbit Mall, Malad. The launch was a cracker of an event with Ileana gracing the evening followed by a fashion show showcasing the latest collection and some stellar performances by Bosco and Ceasar dance troupe and Benny Dayal. As you might have already seen glimpses of the performances on my snapchat (username @streakhuefall if you don’t follow me already!) I thought I’d share with you what I thought about the new store and collection.
With this store, Reliance Trends has managed to approach the whole idea of a shopping experience with a rather holistic approach. To simply put it, Reliance Trend’s new concept store brings together a vast variety of styles under one roof (at totally affordable prices!) while promising you a great time. So imagine walking into one store and finding everything right from ethnic wear to western casuals and work wear to workout wear in a matter of minutes thanks to the great in-store merchandise display and easy navigation! And if this was not enough to lure you into paying a visit to the store, the new spring/summer collection by Reliance Trends almost nails it with something for everyone.
The in-house fashion label RIO targets young women and teens with quirky designs and rad prints while Fig makes for the idea go-to option for working women who like to keep it styles even at work. I personally couldn’t quite get over the wide range of denims in a variety if cuts and washes by DNMX! The mix and match variety of Indian wear in cotton by Avaasa again makes for a smart choice considering the scorching Bombay temperatures. While there’s honestly enough for women to browse through, Reliance Trends also features a wide range for men. Be it Teamspirit with its varsity lifestyle inspired collection or Network with its crisp formal wear – men are bound to find themselves impressed with the range. And for the fitness obsessed, Reliance Trends with Perfomax offers sports and active wear to help you sweat it out in style!
Having visited the new store and viewing the latest collection, I am now really looking forward to what Reliance Trends has got to showcase at Lakme Fashion Week in a couple of days! Make sure you stick around as an outfit post and details from the fashion show will be coming here soon!
