If you're following me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook you…
When I started blogging I had no idea where this was going to be taking me. It felt more like a strong calling that had to be pursued at that moment. I then gave it my all, stuck through all these years simply because I was so passionate about what I was doing and since then there has been no looking back. Today I realise how this blog has become a memory holder, a visual diary of sorts that takes me back to different times of my growing years with every post. Every outfit reminds me of a certain time in my life and since my personal style is but a reflection of how I feel at any given time, the blog reflects my state of mind, my opinions and changing choices through these recent years – all through the visuals and attached words. I sometimes think how I’d possibly never have ever managed to have such a systematically recorded documentation of my thoughts and evolving personal style if not for the blog. The blog has been a witness to my growth – not only in the chosen field but also as a person. And I feel ever so grateful to have stumbled upon this medium and actually going forth and exploring it way back in the days when it was a lot less commercial or mainstream. The blog has had me collaborate with some of the biggest names in the industry and I’ve made new friends who I’d possibly never meet if not for the blog and that is something that’s again only because of this blog.
Every shoot for the blog holds a distinct memory for one reason or another. However, this post is one such post that I feel nothing but extreme pride and joy as I sit to file. Wearing an outfit that’s designed by and is a handiwork of your best friend who’s career decision of being a fashion designer half a decade ago you’ve been a witness to is bound to make you feel overwhelmed. Introducing Label Sneha Banga! I’ve seen Sneha work her way to this right from her college days and it makes me nothing less than extremely happy to be collaborating with her for her very first brand for the blog. With a so many distinctive pieces in her very first collection under the brand, I know she has such a long way to go and I cannot wait to see her reach bigger heights! You can check her collection here and you are sure to fall in love.
